Cherry picking the choice fruit/blessings from the Holy Bible:

Way to often we as Christians only read and apply the portions of scriptures that we want. Way to often we go through the scriptures trying to apply blessings that may not even apply. I cannot help but turning Christian TV and or radio on to be told all of the untold blessings the Lord wishes to bestow on me. They would say things like He wants to give me wells I have not dug etc…

Deut 6:10-11 NKJV
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, 11 houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant--when you have eaten and are full--

Neh 9:25 NKJV
25 And they took strong cities and a rich land,
And possessed houses full of all goods,
Cisterns already dug, vineyards, olive groves,
And fruit trees in abundance.
So they ate and were filled and grew fat,
And delighted themselves in Your great goodness.

The bible most certainly does teach that GOD loves us and will take care of us; the truth is we need not to cherry pick the choice blessings your pastor should look you in your eyes and tell you to pick up your cross.

Luke 9:23-27 NKJV
23 Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. 24 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. 25 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost? 26 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father's, and of the holy angels. 27 But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God."

Jesus also taught that a servant is not greater then his master, if you are partakers in His inheritance what about His sufferings? Hmm?

John 15:20-22 NKJV
20 Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.

I am not insinuating that I wish for any problematic persecutions; no on the contrary I want good things for me. Brothers and Sisters there are Christians all over the world suffering persecution and death, I don’t want that. What I do want is for all preachers, teachers and hearers of the word to proclaim and hear the truth and all truth will point you to Jesus Christ. If the words don’t point you to Christ it is a fallacy lets get it right.
